Introduction of a new generation thermal barrier coating for turbine nozzle guide vanes
A multilayer thermal barrier coating technology for the nozzle guide vanes and flame tubes of aircraft engines has been developed at the enterprise based on the results of numerous experiment. New coating contains a metal heat-resistant underlayer applied using the method of HVOF, and an outer ceramic layer applied using the plasma method. A control program has been developed for application of all layers of the coating using the robotic center.
The conducted tests show that the service life of the coating can increase by 1.5 -2 times.
