A constructive idea of a principle production modification consisted in the development of a series of integral machining processes, which allowed to combine shaping and formation of a high-quality surface layer of parts with complex profile into a single process. It is a creep feed process performed on MAGERLE five-axis profile-grinding center intended for machining of sections of nozzle guide vanes and blades.

During the machining the conditions, almost the same with conditions of thermal strengthening, are created at a rear boundary of a contact between a grinding wheel and part, and residual compression stresses occur in the surface layer. Implementation of this process reduced machining operations from 10…15 to 3…5 and, accordingly, saved time required for manufacture of parts.

The mastered process of speed milling on STARRAG machining centers essentially changed a manufacturing process for blades of compressor and blisk when made it adaptable and quickly readjustable, and reduced labour-intensiveness of manufacture.

The company is sufficiently equipped with modern metal-cutting tools, FEHLMANN Picomax 55 CNC 2/3 precision-boring machine, milling machines Huron CX5, Huron KX10 have just been purchased.

To provide a production process with tools of high quality a sector for centralized manufacture and regrinding hard-alloy milling cutters was arranged as fitted out with domestic welding equipment, as well as WALTER and SCHNEEBERGER GEMINI machines.
